Manchester United prepares to renew contracts with Tenhach coach ‘Long-term power like Ferguson?’ Why it is in a hurry even though there are up to three years left
Manchester United are reportedly preparing to re-sign manager Eric ten Hague, 53.
“The Red Devils are planning to open talks with Mourinho over a new contract,” British soccer publication 90MIN reported on Monday (Aug. 28).
Mourinho took charge of United in July 2022. His contract expires in 2025, but according to reports, the two sides have an option to extend it for another year. He has up to three years left on his contract.
Depending on the length of Mourinho’s new deal, United could be on the verge of a long-term reign, similar to that of Alex Ferguson. Ferguson, a “legendary mastermind,” managed United from 1986 to 2013.스포츠토토
United’s hierarchy seems to be quite happy with Mourinho’s leadership. “Richard Arnold, CEO of United, and others are very happy with Mourinho. “They believe he is the right man to lead the club, despite the recent poor results and off-field issues. We also support him in the Jadon Sancho situation.”
Mourinho was recognized for his leadership last season when he guided United to a third-place finish in the league. The team qualified for the Champions League. They also won the Carabao Cup, their first trophy in six years.
However, they need to break out of their slump this season. The Red Devils have three wins, three defeats, nine points and sit ninth in the league. The wins have been hard-fought rather than dominant performances, and they’ve come against teams in contention for the title, including Tottenham and Arsenal.
The Red Devils also struggled against 19th-ranked Burnley in the sixth round of the league, where they were outshot 11-12. The Red Devils won the game thanks to a late goal from captain Bruno Fernandes, but there were plenty of issues with their performance.
