The Red Devils pushed forward in the second half and eventually broke through. In the 14th minute of the second half, Rashford headed in a loose ball from a corner kick. The ball bounced out and Lindelof slid it in with his right foot, rattling the net.
Even after taking the lead, United continued to push Luton forward. Utilizing the quick feet of their flankers to attack, United created several chances. However, the score remained at 1-0 as the Luton defense remained focused and Kaminski made saves.
After 40 minutes, Luton’s offense took over. Luton pushed up the line and attacked in search of an equalizer. United remained focused at the back and protected their one-goal lead.
In the end, United held on for a one-goal victory to record their second straight league win and move into sixth place in the league.
